Real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles - a movie quote which accurately sums up the patients we support.
We’d like local families, supporters and well-wishers to join the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund for our Superhero Walk at Temple Newsam Park, Leeds on Sunday, September 10th.
Our 1-mile sponsored walk will include families and friends of congenital heart patients, plus the patients themselves, all coming together to raise vital funds for the congenital heart unit at the Leeds General Infirmary.
Starting at 11:30am, the sponsored 1km walk is suitable for families of all ages.
You’ll go at your own speed - faster than The Flash or slow and steady with our very own superhero, Katie Bear. You just never know who else may turn up...
Family entry is £10 and includes a medal for every finisher, bouncy castles and free face painting!
Bring your own picnic and blanket, or purchase food and drinks from The Horsebox Pizza Company.
Enter on our website or call Superhero HQ at 0113 392 5742.
Because time is short (and it always is when superheroes are needed!), you can pay for your family ticket on the day. Please just email [email protected] to reserve your places!
