21st Nov 2019, St. Quintin's Centre, 2a Wallingford Avenue London, W10 6QB
Little Lives UK have agreed to make their largest ever donation to St Quintin’s Children Centre in Ladbroke Grove. The centre will use the £5000 for for a special needs wheelchair bike and tricycles. This sensory equipment is vital for children with disabilities, helping them develop physical strength and teaching them to co-operate with each other.
Representatives spent the evening experiencing a typical night at the centre, meeting workers and children, whilst seeing all the novel ways St Quintin's allows the kids to have fun.
Callum Cuddeford of LLUK “From walking around the centre it is obvious how well St Quintin’s is doing. It’s impossible not to leave with a massive smile on your face. The care workers are incredibly welcoming and the children were clearly very happy.”
Families are increasingly reliant on centres, like St Quintin’s, for providing respite and a place for their children to develop. We are putting money towards this cause so that the centre can continue to thrive. St Quintin’s work is directly in line with the charity’s mission of providing opportunity to disabled and disadvantaged children.
Fundraising was achieved through our customers and their donations, with special thanks to Sheila and Benjamyn for their hard work.
A professional photographer and cameraman were present to capture the event. Photos available: https://clientes.yolavi.net/Quintin-Centre/n-cNjQrg/
Case Study: We will return in the next few months to see how the children are enjoying the new equipment and speak the families about the effect of the centre on their lives.
