Survivors Manchester, a Greater Manchester charity that provides support to male survivors of unwanted sexual experiences, has teamed up with motivational speaker and performance psychologist Martin Robert Hall, to offer free positive psychology workshops for male survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
The two-hour workshops are taking place at Friends Meeting House on Mount Street in Manchester, every Tuesday at 6.30pm until 9th October.
Martin is working with attendees to help keep minds focused, set goals, understand different personalities, maximise time and make better decisions, learn how to influence others positively and reduce worrying.
Chris Whitehead-Baines, Survivors Manchester Client Services Lead, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to meet Martin and get some unrivalled advice on the psychology of both ourselves and other people we may encounter. It’s all about identifying your current challenges and working through them in a supportive environment.
“His work aligns with the service we offer at Survivors Manchester and these workshops will be the perfect platform for the men we support to learn more about themselves and how to heal. We’re so proud to be working with him and to be ab le to offer this opportunity to past and present clients.”
As a consultant to top athletes, organisations and ambitious individuals, Martin is renowned in his field as an expert in helping people consistently perform at their highest level, especially in the face of adversity.
The Positive Psychology workshops will combine methods used in the world of psychology, communication and leadership, with Martin giving attendees the tools to integrate these practices into their everyday lives.
The final workshop takes place on Tuesday 9th October.
