National charity Paintings in Hospitals will mark 60 years of transforming the UK’s healthcare with a gala dinner and silent auction of artworks by world-renowned artists.
Located in the heart of the City of London, Drapers’ Hall will provide a majestic setting for Paintings in Hospitals' 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner on Monday 25th November 2019.
The dazzling evening will feature a drinks reception, an exquisite three-course meal and a silent auction of money-can't-buy experiences and art by Helen Chadwick, Ian Davenport, Antony Gormley, Julian Opie, Marc Quinn, David Shrigley and many more artists. All artworks have been specially and generously donated to raise funds for Paintings in Hospitals.
Ben Pearce, Director of Paintings in Hospitals, said:
“For six decades, Paintings in Hospitals has worked in every type of care organisation to transform the UK’s health using world-class art. Art is proven to help us stay well and to aid our recovery from illness. Every penny raised at our 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner will mean that we are able to bring art and inspiration into the lives of so many more people in health and social care around the country.”
